JOHNNIE T GRIFFIN
Very few barbers today can say that their curiosity about barbering and grooming developed as a result of watching their brother cut hair. Johnnie was very fortunate to experience this, so at young age Johnnie was interested in the art and style of a barber. Johnnie has made a notable climb in the barber world. Making the transition from just cutting his son’s hair to barber extrodianre in 2006, DCC decided to make a decision that would change his life and career forever.
A native of Chicago, after completing barber school, Johnnie began his career under the apprenticeship of Mr. Erskine Reeves, one of Chicago’s distinguished barbers and hair replacement gurus. With a specialized approach to detail, Johnnie analyzes each client’s facial structure and personality to tailor a unique look specific to each individual. “My signature depends on the person, I create a signature cut based on that persons hair, texture, skin, personality. All cuts won’t work for all people, I look at the entire person”.
Johnnie has brought his award winning cutting edge style to different platforms, being featured in Bleu Magazine, platform work for Solo Nior at the Black Womens Expo, and the 2017 NBA Draft combine sponsored by Under Armor.
Situated in West Tampa, Fl DCC brings his masterful and sofisticated techniques to his to all walks of life. Johnnie endeavors to bring a comprehensive grooming experience to all customers looking for that cut above the rest.
Recently Johnnie and his family relocated to Tampa, Florida. This was a life long dream to move to a warmer climate.
